Pollack (Martian crater)

Pollack is an impact crater in the Sinus Sabaeus quadrangle of Mars , located at 7.9° S and 334.8° W. It measures 96 kilometers in diameter and was named after James B. Pollack , an American astrophysicist (1938–1994). [1] Pollack is located southeast of the much larger Schiaparelli Crater and its surrounding Brazos Valles .
